We bring international best practice in the planning and design of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems to cities around the world
Our Principals have nearly 50 years' combined experience managing complex BRT, bus and industry transition projects in a wide variety of countries and contexts, and understand the complexity of working with every stakeholder in the process.
We've helped numerous public and private clients envision a brand-new BRT, beginning with service planning, corridor selection, infrastructure design, station sizing and locations, and transit-oriented development.
We're experienced service planners, focused on creating a comprehensive transit network centered around a BRT corridor, expanding the reach and ridership of a BRT system. BRTPlan's principals co-authored the Service Planning chapter of the BRT Planning Guide, 4th Edition and have applied our knowledge to cities around the world.
BRTPlan is often hired directly by governments or development banks to provide a thorough review of BRT plans at various stages of development. We help develop scopes of work, evaluate consultant bids, and review deliverables to help you get the most out of your planning budget. Because we understand well how BRTs around the world have been designed and built, we bring international best practices to your project.
